Capability Scotland
Services: One of the main disability organisations in Scotland and provide a range of employment support and training for people with disabilities. They are one of the largest providers of the Workstep programme for disabled people with complex needs, and as such will work with employers to develop appropriate support systems to help individuals find and sustain appropriate employment. Their Equalities Unit provides disability equality training for employers and has a consultancy service that provides individual advice to companies on all aspects of disability equality and legislation.

Scottish Business in the Community
Services: One of the leading organisations in Scotland concerned with increasing the involvement of business in the corporate social responsibility agenda. Their ‘Ready for Work’ programme aims to help people who are unemployed and homeless gain work based skills and experience through a process of pre-employment training, work placement and ongoing job coaching. There are a variety of opportunities for employers to become involved in the programme including: hosting part of the pre-employment training; providing work placements; offering help with CV writing and interview skills and encouraging staff to become buddies, mentors or Job Coaches.

Employment Opportunities Scotland
Services: Guidance, support and training to help people with disabilities find and sustain employment. They are a Job Broker for the New Deal for Disabled People and a Workstep provider and are able to provide advice and information to employers on employing people with disabilities.
Areas covered: Offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow and main provision is in Glasgow area, Edinburgh, the Lothians and Borders. Workstep provision is Scotland wide.

Working Links
Services: A variety of programmes aimed at helping long-term unemployed and disadvantaged people find and sustain employment. They provide recruitment support and advice to employers and can provide ongoing support post employment.

Momentum Scotland
Services: A wide range of employment support, training and placements and work experience/placements for individuals facing barriers to employment, including those with mental health problems, physical disabilities, long term health problems and learning disabilities.

Services: Provide a range of programmes including employment support for people with mental health problems. They are a Workstep provider and can provide employers with practical advice and support on employing people with mental health problems.

Shaw Trust
Services: Provide a job brokering service for anyone in receipt of incapacity, sickness or disability benefits and work with individuals to help them become job ready and to support them into employment and will provide ongoing support to individuals post employment. They are also a Workstep provider for people with more complex needs. They provide offer advice and support to employers and work with them to provide suitable candidates to fill vacancies.

The Wise Group
Services: Provide training, development and support to help unemployed people gain the skills and experience they need to be able to find and sustain employment. They will work with employers to understand their needs and match people to appropriate vacancies. They can also give advice on accessing wage subsidies and grants for employers.

Careers Scotland
Services: Provides career planning and guidance for people of all ages who are both in and out of work. One of their key focuses is the provision of programmes for young people aged 16-19 who are not in education, training or employment or are at risk of disengaging with education or employment. They work with employers to promote vacancies and sources of recruitment and can provide induction and aftercare support. Employers can also become involved with the provision of work placements/work experience for young people.

Reed in Partnership
Services: An Employment Zone Provider in Glasgow where clients referred from Jobcentre Plus are supported into sustainable employment and tracked for 13 weeks. They also provide a range of employability services for lone parents in Glasgow. They will provide recruitment and selection support to employers.
